Clear Words Translations is currently accepting applications for a reliable, organized and hardworking individual to become a project manager with us in our Cordoba office. Experience of working in similar roles and managing translation or transcription projects is desirable, but not essential.
You must have a passion for languages, be technically savvy and good at multi-tasking. You’ll also need a strong work ethic and be willing to work in a team, as well as have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
The Project Manager position is full time with plenty of room for long term growth. Being proactive is an essential quality for this role. You must be comfortable making decisions and taking charge. You don’t crack under pressure and have strong problem solving skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to, answering client calls and emails, providing outstanding customer service, supervising project teams and liaising with vendor managers. Familiarity with Project Management software is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Quality Assurance Specialist holds one of the most important positions in our company. Without our Quality Assurance Specialists, we would be unable to deliver the flawless projects that gain repeat business, client trust and respect. If you have an eye for detail, are trained in QA tools and are dedicated to producing a quality product, we’d love to hear from you.
Quality assurance specialists should be familiar with the different programming languages used in localization projects. Attention to detail is a must for our Quality Assurance Specialists, as one small error or missed bug could become a big problem for our clients.
You’ll need to be able to create test cases and a series of steps that typical users follow when using a product. If a problem or ‘bug’ occurs during testing, you will need to record it and send to the localization engineer for fixing. Or even better, set about fixing it yourself! Clear Words Translations is currently accepting applications for experienced Vendor Managers to oversee our third-party relationships, manage freelancers and forge new business contacts.
Experience of working in similar roles is essential, ideally in the translation and localization environment. You must be a proactive person with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of one or more languages, in addition to English, is preferred. You’ll also need strong vendor relationship management skills and knowledge of key industry Software, such as Trados and other CAT tools.
You must be a people person and enjoy communicating both over-the-phone and in writing. Exceptional English grammar and punctuation is a must, as is a passion for languages and a strong work ethic. The Vendor Manager position is full time with plenty of room for long term growth.
Duties include, but are not limited to, liaising with third party vendors, finding new freelancers and creating business alliances. Management of qualified third-party translation and localization suppliers (Translators, Reviewers, DTP, Engineers, Audio Visual) to consistently meet the company’s business requirements, including budget and financial KPIs. You will also need to prequalify and vet potential vendors and support the Production team to resource short and long term projects.
In an increasingly global era, localization is becoming more and more important for our customers. Rising to the challenge, Clear Words Translations is currently receiving applications for localization engineers. We need highly skilled developers who can hit the ground running.
Your main objective will be to develop and oversee high-quality software applications, web sites and online help systems in international markets. You must be ready to work with our translators using CAT tools and translation management software to localize video games, websites and mobile apps.
You must uphold excellent coding development-delivery standards and be able to work with cloud or any customer-preferred infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to head up a department and help take Clear Words Translations to the next level.
We’re always looking for talented translators and editors who are fluent in two or more languages. Work when you want, as much as you want on a freelance basis, or in-house. The right candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in a particular field and show a willingness to learn different areas of translation, from literary translation, to eLearning and localization.
All translators and editors must have above-average computer skills and be aware of CAT and QA tools. We’re always interested to hear about your specialty, so if you’re qualified in medical translation, legal translation, biotech, or hold a higher degree in any specialty, please let us know! We’re always on the lookout for talented Desk Top Publishers and Designers who can work with any format. Our projects often come in a variety of formats and websites designed using different languages and software. We appreciate design talent of all kinds. For web designers, an understanding of UX and UI is essential, as well as an ability to learn. Also, a strong knowledge of WordPress is vital.
Knowledge of SEO practices for our web designers is desirable, but not essential. Mainly, you should have a clear idea of design for international audiences, the use of space and strategically placed CTAs. For both positions we value hard work and a willingness to learn. Desktop publishers will have a minimum of one-two years’ experience in a similar role and be comfortable with advanced DTP techniques.

As this is a freelance position, the right candidate must display exemplary work ethics and strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will need a degree in interpretation or translation and relevant experience in the field. Ideally, you will have knowledge of consecutive and simultaneous interpretation and proven experience in both. There will be plenty of opportunities for interpreters in all areas and you will work with a great variety of clients, depending on your specialty.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, conference interpretation, medical interpretation, courtroom interpretation and interpreting for business and client meetings. You must be punctual, professional and confident, as well as willing to put in the necessary research on your client’s company or conference subject.
